The first thing people say about me is probably how much I smile and all the weird double jointed things I can do (such as rotating wrist 360 degrees). Grew up in Shanghai & moved to the US in 7th grade, I've been through many transitions my younger self would've never imagined — from being a teaching assistant for a 500+ person CS course to performing for more than 700 people. With every one of these transitions, I stepped out of my comfort zone and became the person I am today.

Design to me is the first form an idea takes, just like choreographing. You brainstorm the moves, try them out, reflect, and repeat. There's no exact right or wrong answer in design — this freedom lets me explore and express however I want to. As I dived deeper into my studies, I realized the power of design and how even the smallest experience matters. Since then, designing for people, with people has been the core of my interests and what guides me moving forward.
